Andy is Associate Principal at Shireland Technology Primary, overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of the Principal’s role and supporting the smooth running of the school. He is also the Designated Teacher for Looked After Children (LAC) and a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, championing vulnerable pupils and ensuring their wellbeing and educational progress are prioritised.
Megan is Vice Principal at Shireland Technology Primary and also serves as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. She supports the strategic leadership of the school, working closely with staff to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and pastoral care.
Joshua is Assistant Principal at Shireland Technology Primary. He plays a key role in supporting the strategic leadership of the school, working closely with staff to drive high standards of teaching and learning.
Jahlica is our Designated Safeguarding & Attendance Lead. She previously worked as a Social Worker for Walsall Council and brings a wealth of safeguarding knowledge and expertise to the role. Jahlica is deeply committed to promoting the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at Shireland Technology Primary.
As Business Manager, Karla oversees the day-to-day operations of the school and brings a wealth of experience to the role. Prior to joining us, she worked at Shireland Collegiate Academy as an Exams Officer and has over 10 years’ experience in the education sector, with responsibility for Finance, HR, and Health and Safety.
As Chief Executive Officer of Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, Sir Mark Grundy is passionate about ensuring that all pupils are given access to an exceptional education. Sir Mark was knighted in 2006 for his services to education and technology in the UK; his emphasis on excellence is something that he drives through all schools within the Trust to create exceptional outcomes for all.
Kirsty Grundy draws on over two decades of teaching and leadership experience across the Primary and Secondary phases. As Deputy CEO & Primary Director for Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, she believes that harnessing technology for learning can enable, engage and enthuse students and raise school standards. She leads the Primary Trust team and together they make sure that the Technology Primary delivers the Trust’s high expectations of providing the best technology-enabled opportunities for staff and pupils.
